10 Clean Brock Lesnar Losses You Forgot About
Emily Bell Brock Lesnar has been at top of the WWE food-chain in two different eras. He's been such a dominant force in the ring that he has spent little time in the mid-card of the WWE. Getting a win over Brock Lesnar is a huge feat and getting a "clean win" (a win with no outside help) over "The Beast Incarnate" is not common.

Throughout his entire career, Brock Lesnar has only suffered a handful of clean losses. Most of the big losses that occurred during the Lesnar/Roman feud are memorable, but he has a few shocking clean losses on TV and at house shows that some fans have forgotten or have never even heard of.
10 Vs. Mr. Perfect (Dark Match) - January 28, 2002
Mr. Perfect vs Brock Lesnar might seem like a strange match-up since the stars existed in completely different eras. Even more strange, Mr. Perfect is one of the few wrestlers Brock Lesnar has competed against more than once and never defeated.
Most fans don't even know about their matches since they occurred either at house shows or were untelevised events. On January 8, 2002, a very green Lesnar suffered a clean loss to Mr. Perfect. Although the match wasn't televised it has circulated online and can be found on YouTube.
9 With The Big Show Vs. The Undertaker (SmackDown) - October 23, 2003
This is one of the most insane losses of Lesnar's career. During his 2003 feud with Undertaker, Lesnar was booked in a handicap match against "The American Badass." He and The Big Show teamed up and lost multiple times to The Undertaker.
After Undertaker scored a pinfall win, Paul Heyman, who became GM of SmackDown earlier that evening, announced the match was two out of three falls. It didn't matter as Undertaker defeated the future Hall of Famers in one of the strangest clean losses of Lesnar's career.
8 Vs. Kurt Angle (SummerSlam) - August 24, 2003
Kurt Angle has a few clean wins over Brock Lesnar. The two stars were the face of SmackDown for a few years and had one of the best feuds of Brock Lesnar's entire career.
Although Vince McMahon tried to interfere in Brock's favor, he was submitted by Angle in the first clean loss Lesnar ever suffered. This WWE Heavyweight Title match is also one of the highest-rated matches of Lesnar's time at the company.
7 With Shawn Stasiak Vs. The Hardy Boyz (Insurrextion) - May 4, 2002
Insurrextion 2002 has become more remembered for being the "Plane Ride From Hell" pay-per-view. It makes sense since most of the event was very forgettable. One notable moment from Insurrextion was the clean loss Lesnar suffered to The Hardy Boyz.
The pairing of Stasiak and Lesnar was not good. The Hardys did their best, but this is not a great match overall. Stasiak ended up taking a clean pinfall costing him and Lesnar the match. Interestingly, the WWE still touted Lesnar as undefeated on TV despite this loss.
6 Vs. Kurt Angle (Toukon Bom-Ba-Ye) - June 29, 2007
Brock Lesnar has competed in very few wrestling matches outside the WWE. After leaving the WWE to pursue a career in the NFL, Lesnar returned to wrestling in Japan. He spent some time in New Japan Pro Wrestling but left after an undefeated run at the company due to a dispute over money. He left the company and his last match in Japan at the Inoki Genome Federation.

In the main event match of Toukon Bom-Ba-Ye, Lesnar competed against his former WWE foe, Kurt Angle, for the IWGP "Third Belt" title. He suffered a clean loss to Angle via submission and this was also the last time Angle and Lesnar ever competed against each other in the ring.
5 Vs. The Rock (House Show) - March 15, 2003
When most fans think of "The Rock vs Lesnar," they think of the clean loss The Rock suffered at SummerSlam 2002 before leaving the company to be a movie star. In a random house show in Miami, Lesnar was the last person to know he was losing to The Rock clean as the WWE Champion.
The loss actually ended up rubbing Lesnar the wrong way since it seemed everyone around him withheld information until the show. In his autobiography, Lesnar said it changed his whole perception of the WWE.
4 Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar Vs. Big Show (SmackDown) - August 28, 2003
The winner of this match earned a title shot against Kurt Angle. Despite Kurt Angle working commentary for this match, Lesnar not only lost but took the pin from Undertaker.
Overall, this match is extremely forgettable as it featured a bunch of slow near falls and Big Show seemed like a very unnecessary addition.
3 Vs. Goldberg (WrestleMania 20) - March 14, 2004
The debacle that was Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 is a hard match to forget. The audience was absolutely livid at both superstars. Everyone knew this was their last match and the fans felt the two men were "quitting" on them.
Not even the addition of Stone Cold Steve Austin as a guest referee could save this match. Although many fans remember this match, many forget Lesnar took a clean loss in the bout. The match itself is a mess, and it was an awful way for Lesnar to depart for the NFL.
2 Vs John Cena (Extreme Rules) - April 29, 2012
No one expected Lesnar to lose his first match back in the WWE. Even more shocking, he suffered a clean loss at the hands of John Cena. This match was brutal and was rightfully booked at Extreme Rules. In all honestly, Lesnar dominated this match.

The uncertainty of Lesnar's role in the WWE was the only reason Cena was booked to win the bout. Despite this match occurring between two huge stars, it's often forgotten since the storyline faded away after the match and Lesnar wouldn't compete again until SummerSlam five months later.
1 Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. The Big Show (Vengeance) - July 27, 2003
The combination of the three styles at Vengeance 2003 actually ended up being one of the best matches of 2003. Angle served the mat wrestling audience, while Lesnar and Big Show added a great layer to the match with their superhuman strength.
Lesnar not only lost this WWE Heavyweight Championship match clean but took the pin from Angle who took the title from Brock.
