10 Longest WWE Careers That Never Resulted In A Title Win

Many wrestlers are able to carve out a successful career for themselves when it comes to championship success, being able to win multiple titles throughout the course of their careers in WWE, whether that be in the main event scene, the tag team division, or in the mid-card.

However, not every single wrestler is able to make their way to championship glory. Even those who stick around in WWE for lengthy periods of time aren't always guaranteed a championship run, with some talents just not being at that level in the eyes of WWE. But which wrestlers stuck around the longest and stayed loyal, without ever getting a title reward?

10 Chris Masters (8 Years)

At one point in time, it seemed like Chris Masters was destined for huge things in WWE. He had the look and his Masterlock finisher was one of the most protected moves of the Ruthless Aggression Era.

However, despite an impressive start, he quicky dwindled down the card and never managed to pick up any gold along the way. A run with the United States or Intercontinental Title could have been very beneficial to Chris' career, but instead he is just remembered for the Masterlock Challenge.

9 Bob Orton (9 Years)

While his son, Randy Orton might be one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of WWE, Bob Orton never held a single title in the company. Just like his son, Bob was a terrific wrestler and a real hard-hitter, but never someone positioned in a title scenario.

It's a shame as WWE could've told a great story with Randy had his father held gold in the company. However, that was never the case and instead he has to settle for just being a Hall Of Famer.

8 Jimmy Snuka (9 Years)

Jimmy Snuka is a Hall Of Fame name and a true legend of the wrestling industry. Every wrestling fan has heard of Superfly, and they instantly presume that he was a top World Champion during his run.

However, that wasn't the case. Despite being a hit with the fans and having a unique highfying style for a man of his size at the time, WWE didn't reward him with a title run.

7 Koko B. Ware (9 Years)

Much like Jimmy Snuka, Koko B. Ware enjoyed a nine year stint with WWE, but didn't manage to earn a title. He is also in the Hall Of Fame, although he is a questionable inclusion in the eyes of many, and the fact he never held gold doesn't help that argument.

Koko was a charismatic wrestler though and a Tag Team Title run or a mid-card title run probably would have worked for him. But despite his loyalty, not gold came his way.

6 Jake Roberts (10 Years)

It's crazy to think that Jake Roberts never held a championship in WWE considering the fact that he's one of the biggest names in the history of the industry. On the microphone, Roberts could do it all and his snake gimmick was truly unique.

He was able to work with the very best and he is someone who most fans would have bought into as a World Champion, never mind a mid-card tite. While he got a Hall Of Fame ring, a title never came his way.

5 Tatanka (10 Years)

Tatanka's 10 years with WWE were all over the shop in terms of a timeline, as he didn't have one consistent decade-long run with the company. However, he's been a performer who has never been given a title run in all that time.

Tatanka is someone who would've made a solid mid-card champion at some stage in WWE, as he had a good look and in the ring he was always a talented worker. However, for some reason the company never gave him that push.

4 Jerry Lawler (10+ Years)

For this, we are only focusing on Jerry Lawler's time as an active performer, which was around 10 years, plus his spell feuding with The Miz. Although, The King has been under employment with the company for far longer than that for commentary and pre-show work.

Because of that, it's surprising that he's never held a title. Lawler was one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation, and his ability to draw heel heat was unmatched, yet WWE never trusted him with a championship.

3 Gangrel (11 Years)

Gangrel spent 11 years with WWE on and off, having some long stretches as well as some shorter periods with the company. However, he wasn't able to hold a championship during his time with WWE.

Gangrel did have one of the most iconic in-ring entrances of all time and he certainly played a big part in growing the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. But sadly, none of their championship success was able to rub off on him.

2 Hacksaw Jim Duggan (14 Years)

Hacksaw Jim Duggan might have been the first man to ever win the Royal Rumble, but he was never able to capture a championship during his career. The Hall Of Famer is an iconic wrestler, with his catchphrase and flag-waving antics helping to get him over.

But Duggan never got the big run that perhaps his popularity and in-ring ability deserved. There were times in his career when Duggan could easily have had a run with a title, but for one reason or another, it never came to be.

1 Brooklyn Brawler (24+ Years)

Brooklyn Brawler is one of the longest-serving WWE Superstars of all time, and while he didn't always work under that particular gimmick, he was always employed. His main run came from 1983 - 1998, but even after that, he continued working with WWE on a part-time basis until 2006 properly.

It's amazing that WWE never gave him a run with a title, not even a brief Hardcore Championship or even a 24/7 Championship run. However, his tenure speaks for itself in terms of being able to entertain an audience.
