10 Wrestlers That Were WWE Performance Center Prospects (But Never Made It On TV)
Emma Horne The WWE Performance Center has been the home for a lot of exciting young wrestlers making the jump to WWE, developing and learning WWE's style, and going on to become big stars. The likes of Baron Corbin and Bianca Belair have thrived coming out of developmental, but there are lots of wrestlers who head into that system and never make much of an impact in the company.

Whether they're wrestlers from the independent scene or athletes from outside of the wrestling bubble, some people have high expectations amongst fans and the company itself only to never appear on television. While they might work live events, some prospects simply don't get the chance on television.
10 Nick Comoroto
Nick Comoroto is a wrestler that many wrestling fans are now familiar with due to the fact he is employed by AEW, but before that, he worked for WWE. Comoroto was a hot prospect considering his size and general look with his powerhouse style having a lot of potential.
However, while he got to compete at live events for NXT frequently the big man never managed to transition onto television. It meant that most people didn't get to see the potential that he had, which was a missed opportunity overall.
9 Melanie Brzezinski
Melanie Brzezinski is someone that people had high hopes for, especially since there were reports that she had been impressing at the Performance Center. Because of that, her release ended up coming out of nowhere as it seemed like there were expectations for her to be much more.

Throughout her time she never had an official match for the company, so people didn't get to see how she was truly progressing inside the ring. However, it was a major prospect that WWE seemingly dropped the ball with.
8 Ricardo Miller
Ricardo Miller is another prospect WWE hired without having a wrestling background who was reportedly doing well with his training and had been progressing. He had a football background, which is something that has often created some of the best wrestlers in the business.
Miller never competed in a WWE match at a live event, let alone on television, so he's someone that the WWE Universe never got exposed to before he was released.
7 EJ Nduka
EJ Nduka was signed to WWE and got a lot of people talking about what he could do. He was given a couple of matches at NXT live events, and it seemed like he was going to go onto bigger things with the company, but instead, he and WWE ended up parting ways.
Nduka has since gone on to showcase what he is capable of though, primarily when working with MLW. He has become one of the top names on the independent scene and has even had opportunities on AEW television, proving that WWE might've missed out on him.
6 Aleksandar Jaksic
Having been trained by Santino Marella, there was some hype surrounding Aleksandar Jaksic when he joined WWE's Performance Center. However, he never amounted to anything more than that because Jaksic had zero televised matches before being released.

He did compete at live events where he got to work against some of NXT's more experienced names, but that ultimately meant nothing as he didn't get any further chances.
5 Mohamed Fahim
Mohamed Fahim came to WWE with a sporting background in boxing, and that is something that brought a lot of excitement to him. He had a great look and seemingly ticked all the boxes for what the company would be looking for in someone to compete on television.
He got chances at live events, mixing it up with the likes of Tony Nese and Dexter Lumis, but that never translated to anything else. Instead, he was let go and that has seemingly ended his wrestling journey.
4 Rocky
Rocky might not be someone that fans are too familiar with, but he was around WWE's Performance Center for a while, getting the chance to train and develop with the very best. He managed to have 35 matches for the company at live events, proving that WWE had a certain level of trust in him.
Despite the fact he was getting all of those opportunities around Florida, he never got his big break on television. He had the experience and quality to do so, but that chance wasn't provided to him.
3 Sarah Backman
There was a real buzz around Sarah Backman when she was signed for WWE in 2013. She had a great look, and charisma, and came into the company as an eight-time World Arm Wrestling Champion, which is something that the creative team could easily have turned into something.
She ended up in a real-life relationship with Bo Dallas, but that's all she gained from her time with WWE. Backman was never brought onto television despite the hype that surrounded her.
2 Sara Lee
Sara Lee was someone who fans got to know a lot about on television because she was part of the final-ever season of Tough Enough. Her season featured the likes of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, but it was Lee who won the contract, earning her the chance to be part of WWE's Performance Center under an official contract.

Of course, because she was the Tough Enough winner there were a ton of expectations on her, as people previously in that spot have gone on to do great things. However, for some reason, WWE never capitalized on her, and Lee never competed in a televised match.
1 Thomas Kingdon
Taking one look at Thomas Kingdon it became clear to see why there was some buzz around him. He was a prospect in WWE's Performance Center because of his sheer size and power, being the ideal prototype for what a Vince McMahon wrestler looks like, being completely jacked.
However, the former bodybuilder didn't reach the heights of television with the company before being let go. While he did compete at live events, that is as far as his career in professional wrestling went.
