Brenton Massey

Brenton Massey, D.O., is an Assistant Professor of Neurology, the neurology clerkship director, and part of the inpatient neurology team at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Massey attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he earned an Honors College degree in philosophy with emphases on philosophy of mind and evolutionary biology. He attended medical school at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine followed by a neurology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. In his final year of training, he served as chief resident before accepting his current positions at KU Medical Center and The University of Kansas Health System. Dr. Massey is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (certificate number 62374).
As a neuro-hospitalist, his clinical interests include neurologic emergencies, neurology of systemic disease, stroke, epilepsy, encephalitis, and end of life issues.
