Brock Lesnar Went Off Script During Elimination Chamber [Report]
James Austin Brock Lesnar reportedly decided to go off script during the main event of Saturday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Lesnar outlasted Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Riddle and AJ Styles to win the WWE Championship. Bobby Lashley, the defending champion, suffered a storyline concussion during the match and had to be removed. The Almighty is reportedly dealing with a legitimate shoulder injury and could be out of action indefinitely.
Rather than wait for the door to open, Lesnar smashed through it and enter the match early. Apparently, this part was not scripted, as Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports it "was not a planned spot".
Having won the WWE Championship, Lesnar will now face Roman Reigns in a champion vs. champion match at WrestleMania 38. At last month's Royal Rumble show, Reigns attacked Lesnar and cost him in the WWE Championship match against Lashley, who won the title for a second time.

Lesnar redeemed himself by winning the 30-man Royal Rumble match, and he subsequently announced his plans to challenge Reigns at WrestleMania. This will be the third ever WrestleMania match between Lesnar and Reigns, who also met at WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 34.
As for Reigns, he managed to successfully defend the Universal Championship against Hall of Famer Goldberg after locking in the guillotine submission. This is the last match on Goldberg's WWE contract, so it remains to be seen if WWE will bring him back.
Reigns vs. Lesnar Part 5
The WrestleMania 31 match between Reigns and Lesnar was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract en route to becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Three years later, Lesnar defeated Reigns at WrestleMania 34 to retain his Universal Championship. The Beast Incarnate also retained the title vs. Reigns at The Greatest Royal Rumble.
Reigns, however, has since evened the series by defeating Lesnar at SummerSlam 2018 and Crown Jewel 2021 four months ago. Whoever wins at WrestleMania will take a 3-2 lead in the head-to-head series.
