Conor McGregor Claims WWE Superstars Are Afraid Of Him

Another WrestleMania in the books, and while the argument over which matches and moments were best will stretch on for eternity, we can probably all agree both nights were pretty special. From Stone Cold's return to Sami Zayn getting caught in a giant mousetrap, there was a lot to like, and maybe a little to dislike for some fans when it comes to that second one. The Jackass-fueled match certainly wasn't for everyone.

Johnny Knoxville wasn't the only celebrity involved in the action this past weekend. Logan Paul also gave a good showing. So good that it seems likely he'll be wrestling again. As for who you can expect to see in the future, Conor McGregor showed his hand on Sunday night, letting the world know that WWE is at the very least a blip on his radar.

“Why wasn’t I at WrestleMania? They all fear me, that’s why,” McGregor tweeted during Sunday night's main event. The tweet immediately caught the eye of some WWE Superstars. Dolph Ziggler joked the only reason he fears the UFC star is because he wouldn't be able to cut enough weight to make it a fair fight. McGregor's fellow Irish native Becky Lynch, on the other hand, offered up an olive branch.

“Hey man. I could have used you. Bianca brought an army. Next year?” Big Time Becks replied. Lynch lost the Raw Women's Title to Bianca Belair on night one of this year's WrestleMania in what was arguably the best match of the weekend. Yes, the new champ did have people accompany her during her entrance, but none of them got involved which is almost definitely what McGregor would have done had he been in Lynch's corner.

On the one hand, it almost seems a given that McGregor will be a part of WWE at some point. He has a huge personality and can talk people into a building. However, he's unpredictable and definitely won't like being told what to do, which makes it seem equally likely that he and WWE will never be able to come to terms. That won't stop The Notorious One poking the hornet's nest like he did on Sunday night, though.
