Just as you might decide that some devices on a specific image should not be accessible to TapeSHARE to allocate to other partners within the PLEX, you can also specify that devices should be not be taken by another image.

For example, you can decide that an image (SYSA) should not be able to use the devices with addresses from 0123 to 012F. When SYSA requests devices, it will accept any device but will not accept devices with specific addresses. These devices are designated as NOTAKE devices.
