10 Vs. Rey Mysterio (SummerSlam 2009)

It's hard to have a bad match against Rey Mysterio considering how talented the Hall Of Famer is, but put him against someone who can hold his own and something special can happen. That's what happened when he faced Dolph Ziggler in a match that was kept to a fast pace from start to finish.

Ziggler was able to bump around and make Mysterio's offense look tougher than ever, while they fit in some creative spots that had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

9 Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Baron Corbin (SmackDown Live, 12/27/16)

This era of SmackDown delivered some fantastic content due to the brand split which was being enforced and taken seriously at the time. It meant that WWE had to push different wrestlers and Dolph Ziggler was able to benefit from that with this WWE Championship storyline and it created a classic.

Triple threat matches can be tough but this worked brilliantly, with Baron Corbin being the monster heel working against two men who could bump perfectly. The two smaller wrestlers brought the pace and agility with spots in and out of the ring which helped to enhance a fantastic match.

8 Vs. John Cena (TLC 2012)

Ladder matches aren't typically in John Cena's comfort zone, but that didn't stop Dolph Ziggler from having a fantastic one with him. They put together an incredible encounter with Ziggler doing his usual over-the-top bumping while he brought plenty of big risks at the time.

Cena was the perfect base for Ziggler in this type of encounter, and with some outside interference involving AJ Lee, it added even more excitement to make this match pop.

7 Vs. Daniel Bryan (Bragging Rights 2010)

There was a lack of storyline heading into the match between Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan at Bragging Rights in 2010, but that didn't stop them from putting on a great encounter. They were the opening match of the night and that's something that they took full advantage of by working at breakneck speed to ensure everyone was talking about them.

They put everything on the line in this match and instantly caught the attention of the audience and showcased what the two of them were capable of when they were breaking through.

6 Vs. Randy Orton (Night Of Champions 2012)

This match was a perfect example of why Dolph Ziggler deserved to be in big storylines against top talent because he was able to carve out incredible matches. Rather than rushing things the two of them started slow, working at Randy Orton's more methodical pace to start with.

However, things then ramped up as Ziggler attempted to push the Viper to his limit. The Show-Off was able to push Orton to his limits when the pace picked up and the reversals and nearfalls they fit in helped to make this a thrilling encounter.

5 Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre Vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose (Hell In A Cell 2018)

The tag team partnership between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre might not be the first thing that everyone thinks about, but the two of them worked brilliantly together. McIntyre being the hard-hitting powerhouse alongside Ziggler as a technical master created some brilliant matches.

The best of the bunch saw them team up to face Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team titles, and the frantic pace at which they worked was brilliant. They were able to overcome the former Shield stars with an exhausted Ziggler securing the win to wrap things up.

4 Vs. Edge (Royal Rumble 2011)

Dolph Ziggler and Edge are two master storytellers inside the ring, and that is something that worked out when they competed at the Royal Rumble in 2011. They competed for the World Heavyweight Championship at a time when Ziggler was enjoying a big push and they had fantastic chemistry together.

They knew how to engage the crowd and the selling that Ziggler brought to the ring helped to get everybody on board. Edge was banned from using the Spear in this match which forced them to be even more creative, and that only enhanced the encounter itself.

3 Team Cena Vs. Team Authority (Survivor Series 2014)

This match may not have been about Dolph Ziggler primarily, as the focus was John Cena against The Authority, but he ended up stealing the show anyway. That's because he was the sole survivor for Team Cena, eventually getting the win via the help of a debuting Sting, helping to make this incredibly memorable.

Ziggler was the perfect person to outlast The Authority because he was able to sell the tiredness and drama involved in competing for that long. He managed to get the audience completely behind him as he bumped around and then showed the fire to fight back, which showed him at his best.

2 Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match (WrestleMania 31)

Dolph Ziggler has been involved in a lot of ladder matches throughout his WWE career, but the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 31was the pick of the bunch. The encounter featured a range of in-ring styles and the chemistry everyone had helped create a brilliant encounter.

With talents like Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose providing the aggression and people like Ziggler and Daniel Bryan bringing speed and agility, there was something for everyone. With some big bumps and creative uses of a ladder, the match turned out perfectly.

1 Vs. The Miz (No Mercy 2016)

People might criticize The Miz for his in-ring ability, but he and Dolph Ziggler put on an incredible match at this show. There was plenty of drama considering they were fighting for Miz's Intercontinental Championship with Ziggler's career on the line and they did an amazing job at tapping into that.

They went all out with a competitive back-and-forth match with several moments where people thought Ziggler's career was legitimately done. The fact he was able to do that is a testament to both men with this one being filled with amazing nearfalls and moments of pure drama.
