Every Superstar And Legend Confirmed For The WWE 2K Battlegrounds Roster (So Far)
Emily Bell A brand new trailer for WWE 2K Battlegrounds dropped this week. There have been 26 Superstars and legends confirmed to be a part of the game's roster so far.
Following the failure to impress by WWE 2K20, the series' developers have been forced to reshuffle their schedule. There will be no regular WWE game released this fall, the first time that has been the case for more than two decades. 2K will instead focus on righting its ship and releasing a new game in 2021, presumably for the next-gen consoles.
There's a gap to fill this fall, however, and that gap will be filled by a brand new offering from WWE 2K. WWE 2K Battlegrounds. An arcade-style wrestling game that will allow competitors to arrive to the ring by helicopter, throw opponents to onlooking alligators, and basically sounds like where WWE has been getting ideas for its recent cinematic matches.
