They had each other to lean on when they left their parents behind and moved in with Maureen's grandmother in Florida. That move meant living in the "English" world, which is what Amish people call the non-Amish world.

Rosanna is a member of the Old Order Amish, which is the most traditional form of the Amish religion. She was eighteen years old when her season of Return to Amish began filming in early 2020. She grew up in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, where most of the original cast is also from. She had never been on an airplane until her trip to Florida. As viewers saw on the show, she does not have her GED, and it seems that her Amish education ignored subjects like science and history. However, Rosanna was curious about the world. Fortunately, her dream came true when she was able to swim in the ocean and go parasailing for the first time.

This reality star is adventurous and curious. Although she had a panic attack after arriving in Florida, she soon embraced the English world. She was excited to get her belly button pierced, and she tried sushi even though it looked scary to her. Rosanna went on a mini-golf date on the show, but she confessed that she wasn't really into her date. She now has a boyfriend who is non-Amish. His name is Johnny Detweiler and the two are Facebook and Instagram-official. Rebecca has not returned to her Amish lifestyle since filming ended and where she's living right now is a mystery. Her friend Maureen is now married to her crush Daniel, who proposed on the show.

When she chose the English world over the Amish world, Rosanna left her family and everything she knew behind. As viewers saw on the show, she was hoping to pass the GED so that she could have more opportunities in the English world. Based on what we do know, Rosanna has fully embraced the outside world and has no plans to Return to Amish. However, anything can happen.
