Gigi Dolin Shows Off The Scars Left By Jacy Jayne's Attack On NXT

With Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne both getting the chance to dethrone Roxanne Perez as NXT Women's Champion at Vengeance Day, the ultimate demise of Toxic Attraction had been teased for a while. It seems the inability of the pair to work together so that one of them could win and become champion was the last straw as on NXT this week, Jayne finally and definitively turned on Dolin.

A Brutal Boot To The Face

Bayley dropped by NXT in an attempt to make sure the Toxic Attraction members realize they are better off in wrestling when someone is watching their back. While Bayley appeared to have gotten through to them at first, after holding up Dolin's hand, Jayne had a change of heart and dropped her now-former teammate with a superkick.

It wasn't necessarily the superkick that had fans rushing to social media after the explosive segment, though. It was the kick to the head that came after. Using a door instead of a window as Jayne continued to attempt to recreate the moment Shawn Michaels broke Marty Jannetty's heart, Jayne booted Dolin in the head, seemingly thinking the door would have a little more give to it.

That Left A Mark

The result was an incredibly brutal-looking final blow to Toxic Attraction, and one some fans assumed probably did some real damage. Those fans were correct. In the aftermath of being kicked in the face by the woman Dolin thought was her best friend, the NXT Superstar has posted what her face looks like. A big old bruise right next to her eye, what might well be scratches left by the sole of Jayne's boot up her forehead, and another graze on her chest.

Obviously not the kind of damage Jayne would have wanted to do intentionally, and hopefully all of it is just on the surface and won't put Dolin on the shelf. However, when it comes to the angle between them, it's perfect for what is presumably the build to a match between the pair, maybe at Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania week.
