We also believe that the addition of pockets in women’s outfits may have given this trend a push because now you don’t need a duffle bag to tote your essentials around.
This trend has been around for a while, but it got the attention it deserves when singer Lizzo carried the Jaquemus micro bag at the American Music Awards. It sent out a wave of memes on the internet. It was the first time a bag so tiny had made it to the red carpet and turned out to be a revolutionary moment for luxury bags.
