How To Evolve Flittle Into Espathra
Jessica Cortez Evolving Flittle into Espathra requires reaching a certain level, a process that can be hastened using certain methods in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
One of the cutest new pocket monsters introduced in Generation IX of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is Flittle, a Psychic-type Pokémon that evolves into Espathra after reaching a specific level. Flittle resembles a small bird-like chick with frills that form a skirt around its body. It can be encountered in multiple locations across Paldea, including Areas within the East Province, South Province, West Province, Tagtree Thicket, Asado Desert, and even Glaseado Mountain. Unfortunately, this tiny Psychic-type birdie is typically weak enough to succumb to a single Poké Ball throw. However, if Flittle manages to put up a fight, Trainers can easily subdue it using Bug-, Ghost-, and Dark-type Movesets.
To perform the evolution in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet of Flittle into Espathra, Trainers must have the Psychic-type birdie reach Level 35. If players use Flittle often enough, it will eventually evolve into its superior form after perhaps several hours of playtime. However, those looking to accelerate the process can adopt several strategies. The first way to level Flittle quickly to trigger its evolution is by participating in Tera Raids. If the Flittle is strong enough, it can enter the Raid, but typically the EXP and Rare Candy earned is sufficient for its leveling progression.

Another way to power-level Flittle to its prerequisite level for evolving into Espathra in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is by farming Chansey. According to Dexerto, the pink, egg-holding Normal-type Pokémon is an excellent source of EXP when defeated. This pocket monster can be found in several spots across Paldea, such as North Province (Area Three). However, their spawn rate is woefully low; therefore, eating a Ham Sandwich might be a good idea for the Normal-type Encounter Power buff. Keep in mind that EXP is shared across the party, so when Trainers are farming Chansey for EXP, Flittle does not need to enter battle but will receive EXP if it is an active party member.
Trainers can also use the Lucky Egg to increase the rate at which Flittle receives EXP for its evolution into Espathra in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Currently, the only guaranteed known method of getting a Lucky Egg is by defeating five Gym Leaders. Once this feat has been accomplished, the player protagonist will receive a Lucky Egg from Professor Jacq as a reward. In conclusion, an optimal strategy for leveling for Flittle would be giving it a Lucky Egg and then grinding Tera Raids for EXP Candy or hunting down Chansey. Remember to keep Flittle in the party at all times; otherwise, it will not receive the EXP it needs to reach Level 35 and evolve into Espathra in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
