Lacey Evans May Have Destroyed Any Future Relationship Between Cardi B And WWE
Jessica Cortez Sometimes, it might just be best to let the other side in on the joke. At least, that's how a few fans might be viewing the interaction between WWE Superstar Lacey Evans and rapper Cardi B after their conversation over the past few hours.
As we reported earlier today, Cardi B was a bit confused as to why she was trending on Monday night and getting so many tags in WWE posts on Twitter. She didn't realize her name had been mentioned on Raw and when she learned she was brought up on the show, she started having a little fun with the idea of showing up one day.

Unfortunately for her, Evans decided to get in on the action and started tweeting responses, threatening the rapper. Evans essentially warned Cardi B that if she showed up in WWE, they'd sent her running. When Cardi said the mention of her name on the show wasn't how she envisioned her "debut was supposed to be", Evans decided to call her out. She not only did Evans allude to Cardi B's past feuds with Nikki Minaj, but said:
"Aww bless your heart! @iamcardib U got it all wrong. I heard DEBUT and was giving you a friendly heads up! but since you wanna be a bad ass... keep me in mind when/if you show up to @WWE. I'll kick your ass while listening to your music."
Cardi B didn't take too kindly to the response saying a "white woman can't never put fear on me" and said she'd been showing love to WWE all night and didn't appreciate her responses. It appears Evans may have worked the rapper into a shoot. Unfortunately, Cardi B seems legitimately upset and may not do business with WWE in the future. The last tweet she wrote was, "Wow ! don’t ever wanna hear motherf--kers talking sh-t to me again !!!!"
Should Someone Have Filled Cardi B In?
Some will say it hardly matters that Cardi B is mad at Evans or WWE and didn't wrap her head around the fact Evans was trying to work a program with her and create buzz and promotion. The problem is, when Cardi B tweets something about WWE, it's fantastic advertising for WWE. Her Twitter page alone has over 16 million followers and WWE loves the social media promotion.
Or, is this a matter of Cardi B actually being in on the joke and playing her part? There's a lot more foul language than WWE probably would have liked in any back and forth, but it did draw a lot of attention and WWE on Fox called Lacey Evans the lady of Twitter on Tuesday.
