In an interview with Gay Express New Zealand, Pomara explained that it means the world to her that she was able to secure a spot as a contestant in RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2.

In the same interview, Pomara also expounded on why it means so much to her to be a part of the show. Viewers can see her represent her culture and her drag form, and show why drag is for everyone no matter the size, shape, or background of a person in the TVNZ+ show. She also shared that drag opened so many things for her, probably because of the uninhibited freedom it provides.

After the show completes its airing, Pomara has promised to bring more fun and exciting things to the public and share her love for drag with the world.
