Lizzy Savetsky’s dad Marvin Blum was born in Fort Worth, Texas into a family of modest means. But his parents did provide him with the support to achieve his dreams.

His four grandparents escaped the Nazis and migrated to America with only the clothes on their backs. They raised their descendants to embrace hard work, education, and a commitment to family. No wonder, Marvin is now his daughter’s “ultimate role model.” 

“He is everything to everyone. In the face of all the heartache and stress, he somehow keeps an optimistic outlook with his priorities in the right place — relationships above all,” Lizzy praised Marvin.

Trivia: Marvin lost his only brother Irwin to pancreatic cancer at age 65.
