Dr. Mon Ursino Briones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at The University of Kanas Medical Center. Dr. Briones received his medical degree from A.T. Still University and completed residency training at Saint Louis University Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA. Special interests include 3D Echocardiography imaging for structural heart interventions and Intraoperative management for off-pump LVAD insertion.
