Everything Everywhere All at Once has made a clean sweep of awards at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards today.

The ceremony saw stars of the big and small screens honoured across several categories at Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City, California this afternoon.

Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis and the film’s ensemble cast took out awards in all their nominated categories, continuing their winning streak during awards season.

Early winners included the cast of Top Gun: Maverick for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture and Stranger Things for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.

Zendaya and Paul Mescal were first to present, with the SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series to Jessica Chastain for her role in George and Tammy.

Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza presented the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series to Sam Elliott for his role in 1883.

Meanwhile, Jean Smart took out the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Hacks - though she wasn’t present to accept it on the night. The award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in the same category went to The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White.

Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy handed out the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series to the cast of Abbot Elementary - the latest in a string of awards for the TV series.

Creator Quinta Brunson thanked her peers for the honour, saying, “this means a lot, because being a part of this ensemble means the world to me.”

And much to her surprise, Jamie Lee Curtis took out the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her turn in Everything Everywhere All at Once, beating her co-star Stephanie Hsu.

The award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role went to Ke Huy Quan for his role in Everything Everywhere All at Once - becoming the first Asian actor to win in the category.

Hollywood icon Sally Field was presented with the SAG Life Achievement Award, the highest honour given out by the Screen Actors Guild, by actor Andrew Garfield. Robert De Niro, Helen Mirren, Alan Alda and Rita Moreno have all previously held the honour.

Next, the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series went to Jennifer Coolidge for her role in The White Lotus - following up her Golden Globes win last month with a second triumph.

The same award for best Male Actor in a Drama Series was awarded to Jason Bateman for Ozark, whilethe cast of The White Lotus took out the win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

The award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role went to Michelle Yeoh for Everything Everywhere All at Once.

“I think if I speak my heart will explode,” the actress said while accepting the award amid thunderous applause.

And the award in the same category for a Male Actor in a Leading Role went to Brendan Fraser for his role in The Whale. The actor was overcome by tears as he accepted the award.

Mark Wahlberg then took to the stage to present the final award of the night, handing out the title of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture to the cast of Everything Everywhere All at Once.
