Satnam Singh Debuts, United Empire Lose In First AEW Appearance

This week’s AEW Rampage brings to us another preview of the upcoming New Japan Pro Wrestling vs All Elite Wrestling themed PPV, FORBIDDEN DOOR. Not only do fans get NJPW’s United Empire making their in-ring debut, but also Eddie Kingston continues his bloody rampage against the Jericho Appreciation Society. As well as another debut, when the seven foot tall (7’4) Satnam Singh makes his pro wrestling debut alongside Jay Lethal.

Winner: Eddie Kingston

This week saw the last of a dying breed, Eddie Kingston, continue to take revenge on the Jericho Appreciation Society. This time, instead of seeking vengeance for his burned face, Kingston looked to get revenge on Jake Hager specifically, after Hager cost Eddie his shot at the Interim AEW Championship during Dynamite's Battle Royal. King got what he was after this week when he beat-down and eventually pinned the shoulders of undefeated MMA star, despite taking a good amount of damage himself early on. The crowd is as behind Kingston as ever.

Loser: Enemies of Satnam Singh

This week it may have been Fitchett & Vega, known on the Independent scene as Besties In The World, but it’s hard to see many having much better luck against All Elite Wrestling new giant. Standing well above seven feet tall, Satnam was impressive in the small doses he was given to the fans tonight. Even hitting an Eye Of The Storm like move after the match that was just a bit frightening. Satnam Singh will be interesting to watch develop over the coming months, but seems to be the beginning of one of the most unstoppable forces this roster has seen.

Winner: HOOK & Danhausen AKA HOOKhausen

There may be no bigger winners in the sport of professional wrestling than HOOK and Danhausen. Hot off of their big win at Double Or Nothing’s Buy-In, in what was also their debut as a team, Danhausen is happy to let us know that they both now have new cars that are “PT Cruisers or something”. HOOK was as talkative as ever.

Loser: Red Velvet

Velvet has lost to Kris Statlander before, and tonight was no different. These two have great chemistry in the ring, and it’s hard to say that both of these two aren’t continuing to get better. Jade was able to land a kick on Statlander after Hogan hit the ring, and even ended the segment with control of the ring and standing as unit, despite Anna Jay & Athena’s participation. However, it is still another tick in the loss column for Velvet.

Winner: FTR & Trent Beretta

FTR loves to steal the show, love to Main Event making money for their families, and tonight that is what they did. In the prematch promo it was evident that Ospreay has improved on the microphone over the past few years, but is still not on the same level of a 2022 Dax Harwood. That being said, the promos from both sides were good, and the match that followed lived up to the billing. The New Japan All Elite Crossover continues on the road to Forbidden Door, and perhaps a tag match between Aussie Open, and FTR is in the cards. Only time will tell.

HOOKhausen were interviewed backstage by Lexi Nair. Danhausen arrived in a golf cart claiming it to be his new car purchased after the teams victory at the PPV. HOOK also had a new “car” and was as talkative as ever.

After the match, the Baddies hit the ring to attack Statlander yet again. Athena & Anna Jay came to the ring to scare off Jade & The Baddies and make the save
