Like the company itself, Slammiversary has seen some ultimate highs and some ultimate lows. However, being one of the biggest shows of the year for Impact has led to them pulling out all the stops with some of their main events. From the annual King of the Mountain matches to world title fights, Slammiversary has had a variety of great main events.
10 Ace Austin Vs Eddie Edwards Vs Trey Vs Rich Swann Vs Eric Young (Slammiversary 2020)
This year's edition of Slammiversary promised surprises, including the mystery competitor in the four-way match for the vacant Impact World Championship. Rich Swann came out as the mystery and some fans were disappointed. Smartly, the returning Eric Young was added as a fifth man for the real surprise.
This was a chaotic match that played on existing feuds and set up new ones. Austin and Edwards had a great final exchange, seeing Edwards win the world title for the second time. After the match, Edwards was saved from a beat-down and celebrated with the debuting Good Brothers for a feel-good end to the show.
9 Tessa Blanchard Vs Sami Callihan (Slammiversary 2019)
Impact Wrestling was pushing Tessa Blanchard to the moon last year. A big part of that was her main-event match against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary. Despite losing here, she would later become the first female Impact World Champion by beating Callihan.

This was a good match that would have been better without the multiple ref bumps. However, it was a significant match going forward for Impact and an exciting one at that. Sami Callihan got a big win and Tessa was in the main event before she would go on to take the world title.
8 King Of The Mountain - Rhino Vs Robert Roode Vs Christian Cage Vs Booker T Vs Samoa Joe (Slammiversary 2008)
Until 2010, the King of the Mountain match was the traditional main event for Slammiversary. The reverse ladder matches could be difficult to follow with their somewhat convoluted rules and the multiple competitors that took part. However, they could also be chaotic fun, as a ladder match should be.
This wasn't as hardcore as some other King of the Mountain matches but it was still exciting. Everyone involved showed they belonged in the main event of one of Impact's biggest shows and put on a great match. When all was said and done, Samoa Joe stood tall as TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
7 Austin Aries Vs Moose (Slammiversary 2018)
Austin Aries and Moose closed out a great Slammiversary event in 2018. After multiple hardcore matches, they ended things with a singles match that was no less exciting. After a lot of exciting back and forth action, Aries retained the Impact World Championship, despite it looking like Moose's time.

However, Moose proved he belonged in the main event with Aries, putting on his best singles match to date. While fans may have been disappointed that Moose didn't win the strap, there is no denying that this was a great match.
6 King Of The Mountain - Jeff Jarrett Vs Ron Killings Vs Abyss Vs Christian Cage Vs Sting (Slammiversary 2006)
With Christian wanting to retain his title in the King of the Mountain match and Sting wanting to make sure Jeff Jarrett did not win, a lot of intrigue surrounded this main event.
Everyone played their part well in this match. Jarrett was despised as the heel winner. Sting focused on trying to prevent Jarrett's victory. Christian still looked strong in defeat. Abyss and Ron Killings also added to the action. Despite an abundance of interference, this was a fun main event.
5 Austin Aries Vs Bobby Lashley Vs Eric Young (Slammiversary 2014)
Eric Young would be put to task as world champion as he defended his title in a triple threat steel cage match against Lashley and Austin Aries. As three of Impact's top guys, they gave it their all to make an exciting cage match.
Lashley missed a spear, putting himself through the cage and taking himself out of the equation. This led to a really fun ending sequence between Aries and Young. Aries had the upper hand until Young reversed a brainbuster attempt into a piledriver out of nowhere to retain his title.
4 Kurt Angle Vs Jeff Jarrett (Slammiversary 2011)
Jeff Jarrett was one of Kurt Angle's most bitter rivals in his many years in TNA. Billed as the final match between the two, this number one contender's bout took the main-event spot over the world title match.
After gaining the upper hand following a guitar shot, Jarrett looked to humiliate Angle with the ankle lock but Angle reverses into one of his own for the submission victory. A great match between great rivals was the right way to close out this Slammiversary.
3 Drew Galloway Vs Lashley (Slammiversary 2016)
Before Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley met at WWE's Backlash this year, they met in a world title match at Slammiversary in 2016 when McIntyre was known as Drew Galloway in Impact. This was a hoss fight and it was brutal.

2 King Of The Mountain - Monty Brown Vs Abyss Vs Sean Waltman Vs Raven Vs AJ Styles (Slammiversary 2005)
TNA's inaugural Slammiversary event closed out with the King of the Mountain match for the NWA Heavyweight Championship. AJ Styles impressed with his athleticism as always, while Monty Brown took out everyone with high impact moves throughout the match.
Raven and Abyss brought the hardcore elements and no one shied away from the brutality. The ending saw Raven hit the DDT on Monty Brown and climb the ladder to hook the belt. The new NWA World Heavyweight Champion was covered in blood while celebrating with fans to close the show.
1 King Of The Mountain - Chris Harris Vs AJ Styles Vs Kurt Angle Vs Christian Cage Vs Samoa Joe (Slammiversary 2007)
2007's King of the Mountain match was wild, chaotic, and fun. Everyone involved looked like they belonged in the main event and they all gave it everything they had. There was great wrestling and thrilling innovative offense from everyone involved.
Not only did everyone in the match take huge risks, but the risks were also unlike what fans had seen before. Bodies flew around the ring and to the outside, and there was nothing these guys weren't willing to do. This thrilling main event saw Kurt Angle hook the championship to close the show.
