There's no shortage of videogames with a conematic flare nowadays. and sometimes those games feature some really chilling dialogues. Here are a few examples.
California speed
How can a racing game have a creepy line like "Sometimes... God Takes Mommies and Puppies Away... And Sometimes... Just Sometimes... I Do." Developers simply forgot it in the game files. And it now creeps gamers out to this day.
Imagine trying to catch a breather as you just walk quietly trying to ignore those Zombies. Eventually, you would make a mistake and make some noise and then text would appear "Here They Come." Enough to make you anxious.
world of horror
World of Horror is a game full of, you guessed it, horrors. Those playing games like this are already on their toes when they see the message "Something Truly Evil Knows Where You Live" on their screen. Makes your skin crawl.
dead space
This one quote is never spoken in the whole game but is more unsettling than anything else on this list. As players complete chapter after chapter in the game it turns out the first alphabet of each chapter name ends up spelling "Nicole is Dead." Its unsettling because players have been talking to Nicole throughout the game but she was dead even before players got on that ship.
Players will never forget the Definition of Insanity as narrated by Vaas. The best part is, that Michael Mando the voice actor himself came within line, which makes it even better.
