In October 2017, while still competing for the University of Wisconsin, he sustained a quadriceps strain. He did not have to sit out a game due to the injury.

Three years later, while playing against the Detroit Lions, he sprained his ankle slightly, his first NFL injury. He suffered a Grade 1 knee strain in September 2021, which made him ineligible for practice.

In the 2022 season, Taylor sustained two ankle injuries. In Week 4’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the RB suffered a Grade 2 Pedal Ankle Sprain.

Then, Taylor had a Pedal Ankle High Sprain Grade 3 last December that abruptly ended his campaign. He underwent surgery for his recent injury and is still on his way to recovery. It seems like 2023 will be the same for the player. He will have to miss four games in 2023.

Where Can Jonathan Taylor Appear in 2023?

The Pro Bowler may be traded by the team before the official in-season trade deadline, Oct 31, 2023. According to reports, the Dolphins were among the teams interested in signing the well-known ball carrier, but Indianapolis reportedly wanted the equivalent of a first-round pick in exchange.

There has been no official statement made from Jonathan Taylor’s end. However, if he misses 2023, then it would reflect poorly on his career.
