Kody Brown is having issues with his children after many of the older Browns, including Garrison, have come out against the Sister Wives star.

Sister Wives viewers are not surprised to hear that another of Kody Brown's sons, Garrison, is having problems with his father. Kody and Janelle Brown's son has been very outspoken against Kody's strict rules surrounding COVID-19. In the latest season, Garrison and Kody butted heads over the issue.

Like a few of his siblings, Garrison decided to make a career out of the military. The 23-year-old also needed time away from his sizeable family. Garrison originally wanted to join the Army but chose the Nevada National Guard as a compromise with his father, who wanted him to go to school first. Garrison, who is Kody's seventh child, also lets his creative juices flow by taking part in his photography hobby and owning his own clothing line. While he has done exceptionally well for himself, Sister Wives season 16 showed Garrison openly criticizing Kody's parenting skills.

The feud between Kody and Garrison really heated up in 2021 during the second year of the worldwide pandemic. Garrison and his brother, Gabriel, absolutely refused to submit to Kody's self-imposed rules, which included not being able to see his siblings. It was revealed that Garrison had been much more social than his father realized. Instead of hashing their issues out, Kody chose to blame his two sons for putting him in a tough spot which forced him not to be able to see Janelle or his daughter Savanah. The argument led to Kody telling Garrison and Gabriel that they were at fault for ruining their parents' relationship. While Kody insisted Janelle kick them out of the family home, she stood firm and backed her children.

Sadly, the father-son feud has not gotten better even though a bit of time has passed. Kody shared with viewers in 2022 that he and Garrison were not on speaking terms, noting they need family therapy. Kody is extremely mad that the issue boiled down to his son wanting to have a social life instead of keeping his mother and siblings safe. If Kody and Garrison continue down the path they are on with no communication, there may not be much hope for their relationship.

While Garrison may be extremely hurt by Kody, he is making the best of it and trying to move forward in his own life. Sister Wives viewers learned he recently bought a home in Flagstaff, AZ. Janelle is thrilled to have another child close to home. She recently posted an Instagram video that showed Garrison celebrating his birthday and helping her move back onto Coyote Pass. With viewers hoping for a new season soon, it will be very interesting to see where Garrison and Kody stand in their relationship.
