In less than six tries, March 24th’s Wordle answer was not too tricky to guess. However, with relevant hints, the answer can be guessed in fewer tries.

March 24th’s Wordle answer was relatively easy to guess if players used the right starting words. However, figuring out the solution for each day can get tricky as the game does not offer relevant hints. Since Wordle players need to solve the answer in six tries or less, getting some hints might help them maintain their streak. For new players, each time players enter a five-letter word, the game responds by changing the box's color to either yellow or green.

Wordle’s rules are easy to follow, as the game offers only two types of hints to players. For example, a box’s color will turn yellow if the letter in the box is being used in today’s answer but is not in the right spot. If a box’s color changes to green, this means the letter in the box is being used in the correct spot. Finally, if the box’s color remains unchanged, that means the letter is not being used anywhere in today’s Wordle answer. 

Once players are done attempting the puzzle, they can share their progress of today’s Wordle answer on social media. Players can click on the ‘Share’ button that results in the website copying a set of emojis and the number of attempts pasted on Facebook or Twitter. The copied text and emojis will contain color-coded boxes and the number of attempts that other players can understand without getting any spoilers to today's Wordle answer. 

Wordle’s March 24, 2022 (#278) Hints & Answer

Today’s Wordle answer is not easy to guess right off the bat, so the below hints may come in handy for solving the puzzle. These hints are akin to what players may have seen before on crossword puzzles and other vocabulary-related games. Hopefully, these hints might push players towards today’s Wordle answer:

• Hint 1: A large, strongbox 
• Hint 2: Where the heart is 
• Hint 3: A storage box for treasure

Wordle 278 Answer (March 24)

If the above hints didn’t point players to the correct answer, today’s Wordle answer is CHEST. When trying to guess today’s answer, the first word we used was “ROAST,” which revealed two letters being used in the right spot. In the second attempt, the word “BEAST” was a perfect word to use as it showed one more letter being used in today’s Wordle answer but was in the wrong spot. The next word we used was “CREST,” which revealed four letters being used in the right spot. Once we knew four letters’ boxes turned green, we could easily guess today’s Wordle answer CHEST.
